These plants are part of the Ranunculaceae family and are known for their colorful, delicate flowers. Anemone Mount Everest produces pristine white flowers with a crisp, fresh appearance. It blooms from January to March in plains and February to April in hilly areas. Plant the bulbs between October and November for an elegant spring garden display. Environment Anemones require full sun to partial shade and thrive in fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0). Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged and soak the corms in water for 4-6 hours before planting. Plant the corms 1-2 inches deep with the pointed end facing down, spaced 3-4 inches apart. For optimal growth, use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at planting time.
